BeuCyber Cyber Security Team successfully completed basic cyber security training at our faculty on October 5-6. The training was attended mostly by first and second year students.
As part of the training, Team Captain Talha Aydın first provided basic information to students interested in cyber security. Then, he provided comprehensive training on networks and the OSI model. Afterwards, team members Atakan Arpacı provided training on malware, and Azat Durukan provided training on operating systems and Kali Linux.
On the second day of the training, team member Osama Ahmed provided training on cryptography, the internet and IP addresses. At the end of the training, applications were made on various machine solutions with the team members.
With this event, a strong foundation was created for students interested in cyber security, and they were encouraged to further their interests.
BeuCyber team will continue to contribute to the spread of cyber security culture at our university with the new events and trainings it will organize.
