1- PROCEDURES TO BE DONE BEFORE STARTING THE INTERNSHIP
The 2 procedures specified below must be completed before starting the internship. must be completed together. Otherwise, the student cannot start the internship.
NOTE 1: All students will deliver the Compulsory Internship Document to the relevant faculty member in the Internship Committee via message via the OBS system. Hand delivery will not be accepted.

NOTE 2: For companies that request a signed copy of the Compulsory Internship Form; the student can also have the internship advisor sign the form or request a signed document via OBS.
Students who have filled out the Compulsory Internship Form completely and completed the OBS Internship Information Entry must see the Application approved status on OBS in order to start their internship.
IMPORTANT WARNING: Internship applications of students with deficiencies or errors in the Compulsory Internship Form will not be approved. These students should check their 2nd advisor messages on the OBS system.
2- PROCEDURES TO BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE INTERNSHIP PERIOD
During the internship process, the intern student fulfills the duties assigned by the internship supervisor.
The internship notebook is filled with at least 20 pages, including daily professional work.
The relevant parts of the internship notebook are signed by the internship supervisor.
After the internship registration slip is signed, it is received from the internship supervisor in a sealed envelope.
When filling out the internship notebook, care is taken to use passive sentences.
3- PROCEDURES TO BE CARRIED OUT AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE INTERNSHIP
After the completion of the internship, the internship notebook will be bound and delivered both in printed form and electronically (via OBS).
The rules must be followed when delivering the internship notebook in printed form.
The internship notebook (signed) and the registration slip (in a sealed envelope) must be delivered by hand to the department internship committee or by cargo to the specified address.
The internship notebook (signed if possible, otherwise unsigned) must also be sent as a PDF to the relevant faculty member via message via OBS.
These procedures must be completed by September 30, 2025.

Our department students are required to do an internship of 40 working days in total, consisting of two separate parts of 20 working days each, throughout their education and training life.
There are two internships in our department, SOFTWARE INTERNSHIP and HARDWARE INTERNSHIP.
Students can do a SOFTWARE or HARDWARE internship, provided that at least one of their internships is a SOFTWARE INTERNSHIP.
The order in which the Software or Hardware internships are done is not important. Students can complete their internships in any order they want.
However, students who want to take Internship I and Internship II courses together and complete both internships in the same summer period must first receive a "YT" grade from their first internship. To do this, students must enter the internship interview immediately after completing their first internship. They can then start their second internship.
No student who does not receive a "YT" grade from their first internship can start their second internship.
In the workplace where the internship will take place; the intern's internship supervisor must be at least a bachelor's degree Computer Engineer, Software Engineer or Electrical-Electronics Engineer, provided that he/she works in the field of computer-informatics.
SOFTWARE INTERNSHIP
Computer Engineering Department SOFTWARE INTERNSHIP is 20 working days and the content of the internship must meet any of the following items. Students who do software internship are required to develop a project.

HARDWARE INTERNSHIP
Computer Engineering Department HARDWARE INTERNSHIP is 20 working days and the content of the internship must meet any of the following items.
Computer Organization, Computer Architectures
Integrated Circuit designs and manufacturing, VLSI
VHDL, SystemC, Verilog etc.
Embedded system design and applications.
Micro-controllers, micro-processors
Industrial Automation systems, PLC Robotic applications
Trace-face-finger-eye-tire recognition systems
Car, bus etc. vehicle feature controls (distance, brake, wet road, air conditioning)
Data communication, Computer Networks, Network Security Factory device tracking-control systems
